Jeffery Farnol

In a recent publication on Tonbridge it states that the writer JF laid the scene of many of his novels within the walls of the Rose & Crown in Tonbridge.  Is he on our list?  he wrote circa 50 novels.  Sorry I misread that - it was in the Chequers pub and not the Rose and Crown.

Hi Vivian. I had a go at reading "The Broad Highway" by Jeffery Farnol but I found it a bit indigestible. It does include an encounter between the narrator and a tinker in the Chequers!
