Unrest of their Time Find!
This is a really dark and unsettling story, written by Nellie Kirkham who was much better known as an authority on Derbyshire Lead mining. It tells of the lives of people who lived in the twentieth century and of parallel lives lived in Elizabethan times. The theory of time as a spiral is central to the way in which an old tragedy is re-enacted in the village of Monyash. The descriptions of the scenery and Derbyshire ways of life are superb. The story unfolds gradually leaving many unanswered questions. Well worth a read.
