Scared to live Find!

I really enjoyed meeting Stephen Booth but found this book difficult to get into. My mum tried to read this as well and also found it a little slow.  I hope the next one I read will be better.

One Last Breath by Stephen Booth

Stephen shows well researched local knowledge in both books I have read by him, this is the most recent one. The plot is very convoluted which makes it a good read because you never know what will happen next. There’s a twist at the end that only becomes clear as Ben Cooper and Diane Fry Stephen’s detectives investigate.

The story is about a murder case that Ben Cooper’s father arrested Mansell Quinn for fourteen years ago. He has just been released from prison and his family and others connected with the case are at risk when he doesn’t turn up at the accommodation arranged for him. His ex-wife is found murdered and he becomes a suspect as Ben and Diane try to unravel the clues in the lives of those involved in the original murder.
