Buxton Ghost Walk
Well, four of us took a risk and joined the Ghost Walk in Buxton last night. It was probably more quirky than scary but we did hear about phantom dogs, riding the devil, poltergeists in pubs and the ghost of Mary Queen of Scots. Norman, our guide, is also a magician and children's entertainer so it wasn't a complete surprise when he produced a stick from thin air, ectoplasm from his mouth and did a card trick to demonstrate the weird goings on at The Milton's Head. However would he have the nerve to introduce his balloon modelling into the tour????? You'll have to wait to find out till I've worked out how to upload the video (yes we've bought a Flip video camera) footage, but we certainly had to brave some bloodsucking ghouls as the evening progressed (ok, midges).
Here's a picture of the intrepid Reading Detectives with Norman. Further details of the Buxton Ghost Walk .
